Glenford Gus 40N has been the kingpin at Birdtail Shorthorns since we acquired him as a yearling. He is pictured here at 9 years of age basically on a hay diet and eating snow. He has injected outstanding performance into our herd and his offspring have done very well at the Douglas Test Station in stats and sales. We have retained many Gus females and they are good-producing cows in our herd. Gus 40N is extremely docile and he regularly passes this trait on to his get.
